Production Chemistry Networking Event
Proserv’s Production Chemistry Networking series returns for 2019.
Led by production chemistry expert, Richard Barr, these free events provide an informal platform for industry professionals to meet, network and share lessons learned. Throughout 2018, the events included presentations covering subsea, produced water and flow assurance, and were attended by over 120 industry professionals including production chemists, process / environmental / flow assurance engineers, business managers and consultants.
The first event in this year’s series will focus on sand production in the oil and gas industry:
Sand Production in the Oil and Gas Industry | 19th March | 17:30 – 20:30
With production losses attributable to sand production in the UK estimated at 2.16million boe in 2017, this is a great opportunity to network, and gain a better understanding of “Sand Production in the Oil and Gas Industry” with production chemists, engineers and other professionals from the industry.
The event will include three short presentations on the subject of sand production:
- Sand removal, handling and clean-up techniques – online desanding, analysis and challenges faced by James Banister of NOV
- Managing sand control through consolidation chemicals by Kevin McNamee of Nalco Champion
- Erosion and Corrosion Monitoring for Effective Sand Management by Andrew Kinsler of Sand Monitoring Services
