HURRICANE HARVEY: Houston Operations Shutdown

HURRICANE HARVEY: Houston Operations Shutdown

Posted: August 29, 2017

Extreme weather and flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey has led to the operational shutdown of Proserv’s Houston facilities at 15151 Sommermeyer Street (Subsea Controls) and 1231 Lumpkin road (Gilmore). The facilities will remain closed until further notice.  Our company’s facilities in Houma, Louisiana are operating as normal.  We are in the process of a safe and systematic assessment of the situation as the climatic conditions progress.  Safety is our first priority, and we are taking all precautions to minimize the impact to the community, employees and contractors throughout this force majeure event.  We are communicating with our employees and their families to ensure they remain safe and will be addressing operational impacts (if any) with our key clients and suppliers as things progress.

For employees, please continue to check with the employee hotline (713-550-5501) where messages will be updated twice daily as the situation evolves. We will be looking to re-open both of the affected facilities as soon as it is safe and practical to do so and the employee hotline will be updated with the status.
