Production Chemistry Networking Event
Interested in interacting with like-minded professionals and discussing the latest production chemistry topics?
The ProChem Networking event provides the platform that brings together oil companies, duty holders and operators, regulators, and service and support companies in one place.
The purpose is to host a free to attend, and informal session, that offers the chance for industry professionals to meet, network and look at sharing best practices, lessons learned, and gain a better understanding of the challenges and issues that the industry faces.
Production Chemistry covers the reservoir through to refinery, and each event will target a particular theme that is not only informative, but also interactive.
Our in-house Chartered Chemist, Richard Barr hosted the first event at Proserv’s Centre of Excellence for Sampling Solutions in Aberdeen. This featured presentations focussed around ‘subsea’ ProChem related topics, including:
• Green chemistries
• Particle cleanliness
More than 20 delegates showed their support, representing a range of companies including operators, chemical and service support companies.
Richard Barr, Business Development Manager – Production Chemistry, said: “The content and format of the first event generated such positive feedback that plans are already underway for a follow-up event, with sponsor support being discussed.
“This highlights that there is an appetite for collaboration and sharing of best practice within the field of Production Chemistry and I am looking forward to providing a programme that is both relevant and engaging over the coming months.
“Thank you to everyone who attended and has taken the time to provide feedback, allowing us to build on this success.”
Our second event is scheduled for June 19th, and will focus on “Produced Water Management and Optimisation”.
