Gilmore check valves are used in hydraulic circuits when one-direction flow is required with the assurance it will reliably prevent flow going in the reverse direction. Gilmore additionally offers pilot operated check valves (POCV) when flow is desired in one direction for a period of time, with the ability to pilot the check open for desired reverse flow. Gilmore offers a variety of check valves in sizes from ½” to 2″ in a number of connection types with pressure ratings from 100 psi up to 30,000 psi.
Gilmore subplate mounted (SPM) valves are critical control valve components, relied upon for directional control of regulated hydraulic fluid within a system. Gilmore offers SPMs in 2-way and 3-way varieties in normally open or normally closed configurations. With durable PEEK, soft seated sealing, they feature a limited interflow design. Their compact and lightweight designs make them ideal for areas where size and weight are a factor.
Gilmore relief valves are quick acting, spring or pilot operated hydraulic valves that open to relieve pressure when the sensed pressure exceeds the desired setting. These valves are typically used as safety devices to prevent over-pressurisation of instruments and equipment in a hydraulic circuit. Gilmore offers both shear seal and poppet style relief valves in a wide variety of connection types, with sizes ranging from ¼” to dual ¾” outlets and pressure ranges from 125 psi up to 18,000 psi.
Gilmore dump valves are used to enable quick dumping of a pilot, cylinder, or circuit function volume. The dump valve’s vent port bypass a restrictive control system vent circuit to protect other system components. GEN 2 Quick Dump valves are now available with new inlet poppet check valve seat design.
Gilmore shuttle valves allow a redundant supply source to act as flow logic components within a system that allow for the automatic selection of flow from multiple supply ports which get directed through a common function port to provide critical functions with redundant supply sources. During normal operation of the shuttle valve, the higher pressure source from one inlet shifts the shuttle to close off the lower pressure sourced inlet and is directed to function.
Gilmore’s shuttle valves feature hydraulic cushioning, spring/pressure biased, and high/low interflow designs. With both leak-tight metal-to-metal and elastomer sealing shuttle options, Gilmore offers a plethora of shuttle valve styles to fit every need.
The new improved 1/2″, 1″ & 1-1/2″ MkIV shuttle valves are now available, as well 1″ GEN 2 Traditional Shuttle and 1/4″ GEN 2 Shuttle Valves.
Gilmore Sequence Valves, also known as variable pilot valves, are utilised when a pilot flow to another valve or component is required to fire a function. The sequence valve features a variable pilot setting, allowing sequential shifting of valves by varying the set pilot pressures. GEN 2 variable pilot valves are now available with standard Tungsten Carbide seal trim.
Gilmore’s Pressure Regulators are the ideal solution for maintaining and limiting downstream pressure. Hardened stainless steel or Tungsten Carbide hydro-seals are precision lapped to provide a durable positive seal and develop a wiping action that resists contamination.
Regulators may be custom packaged to suit a wide variety of offshore and subsea pressure regulator applications. The high flow capacity design makes it well suited for many topside and subsea drilling and production control applications.
Gilmore Valve Directional Control Valves (DCV) are the first choice for offshore and subsea drilling controls as logic elements for supplying system functions. Their unique design allows them to handle high pressure fluids and complex operational requirements.
Shear Seal Style
Gilmore’s Tadpole and Toadpole 3-way or 4-way, 2 –position, very low interflow, N.C. or N.O. selector valves utilise standard Tungsten Carbide metal-to-metal shear sealing to offer robust, debris tolerant subsea control functionality. They are available with single or double pneumatic or hydraulic pilot, and may be customised to better suit your application requirements.
Gilmore’s Poppet cartridge valves are available in two-way or three-way, normally closed or normally open configurations, all with hydraulically piloted spring return actuation. They are designed to be installed into a manifold cavity, or they can be supplied with a valve body with conventional end connections. Pilot pressures can be customised.

Gilmore can design and manufacture customised control valve assemblies when there is a need to install multiple valves into a common manifold to reduce space and minimise piping.
Gilmore drilling valves are used in applications such as open hole and cased hole formation evaluation, and in smart completions. The core of the product line is valves for wireline tools, both for sample bottle valves and control valves in clean and formation fluid applications. Gilmore offers piloting products in smart completions as well and have valves for cased hole formation testing.
Gilmore HIPPS Quick Exhaust Valve (QEV)
Leveraging our industry leading technology, Gilmore introduces the ﬁrst of our line of SIL valves for SIS. The Quick Exhaust Valve (QEV) for a HIPPS system is certiﬁed suitable for SIL 3 in a redundant system. This 3 way 2 position pilot operated valve is capable of high ﬂow rates, 1000 on demand cycles and a 30 year life without maintenance.
Nearly unparalleled in reliability, this valve is the heart of four distinct pilot operated valves for use in SIF’s that Gilmore is developing. 3 way-2 position pilot operated valves in normally open and closed conﬁgurations, and 2 way-2 position valves in normally open and closed conﬁgurations.
Building on our pedigree in wireline tool sampling valves and the proven line of Gilmore drilling control valves we are pleased to introduce the critical service valves suite. Utilizing our patented dual direction Key SealTM technology, we have developed a line of control valves for the harshest environments encountered in the oilfield.
