What You Need to Know

Reporting directly to the Aftermarket Services Manager, you would be responsible for the the day-to-day operations of the Aftermarket Services team as they relate to Intervention and IWOC projects. This position is also responsible for the guidance, development, and leadership of the IWOCS team. Most importantly, this position requires a team player who will provide leadership support and team support for peers and direct reports.

Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)

    • Serve as project lead on all Intervention and IWOC projects on & offshore and in-house.
    • Manage workflow of incoming Intervention & IWOC project schedules. Utilize resource planning tools to identify and assign workforce requirements.
    • Direct team meetings as necessary.
    • Ensure that all Intervention & IWOC projects are completed satisfactorily.
    • Supervise and assign personnel to deploy labor and equipment to customer projects efficiently.
    • Coordinate and assist Service personnel needs within the department.
    • Maintain awareness of anticipated projects and upcoming labor, materials/tooling, logistics, and safety needs to meet customer requirements effectively.
    • Monitor contractual obligations. Communicate with customers regularly to verify satisfaction and resolve issues as necessary.
    • Support invoicing projects to ensure necessary paperwork was checked and submitted on time.
    • Ability to work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, and Project Management.
    • Resolve project issues by liaising with other department leaders, analyzing data, investigating, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
    • Provide regular written reports for KPI and other performance data, as well as other service-related results and updates as requested.
    • Assist in investigating all project incidents (recordable incidents, near misses, and first aid) and ensuring proper records are kept. Implement corrective actions as necessary and ensure project sites follow Proserv safety standards.
    • Direct resources and activities to support Company Health Safety and Environmental (“HSE”) programs by providing advice and guidance to management.
    • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing Proserv standards.
    • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by the relevant line manager.

Qualifications

Education

Essential

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Seven to ten years of experience leading intervention and IWOC Projects

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree from and accredited four-year college/university in Business, Technology, Project Management or similar.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • A minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of work experience in Oil and Gas Services at supervisory or team lead levels.
  • Strong background in project estimating, budgeting, and cost tracking.
  • Experience leading a team with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
  • Strong time management/leadership skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate effectively and express thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Willingness to travel and lead offshore projects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred

  • Leadership of a team
  • Strong network of contacts in the industry

Physical Requirements

  • Capable of traveling to various regional facilities and international locations for meetings or training as necessary and directed.
  • Ability to lift and carry files, packages, and boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Natural or corrected vision to read printed materials and computer screens.
  • Natural or corrected hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
  • Capable of properly using standard office equipment, including a telephone and a computer with a keyboard.
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Includes hard hats, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities is required.
  • Willingness to travel at short notice and for extended periods, including offshore locations for up to three (3+) weeks or more

Work Environment

 

  • Work will primarily be performed indoors in a controlled environment. Some exposure to the manufacturing and shop areas, which are open and not air-conditioned.
  • Work conditions will vary. Work may be conducted outdoors with exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant Odors, and loud noises for extended periods
