What You Need to Know

The Project Engineer will be responsible for production of equipment to customer and internal within Oil & Gas. This includes production planning, documentation, follow up of suppliers, identify delays or conflicts against planned schedule, working closely with Operations Manager regarding resources/workshop and reporting to customers` progress. 

 

Some of the Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)

  • Follow up projects, documentation, delivery schedules and customer specifications.
  • Technical support for production, bid and sale of Sampling Systems and Cylinders
  • Prepare tenders for bid and sales organization
  • Customer contact during Production
  • Possible onshore/offshore surveys
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Look for ways to boost revenue and make this project better.
  • Handle changes in projects to get the best results.
  • Carry out lessons learned sessions to evaluate project and assess results
  • Contribute to development of company products 

 

Education

Essential

  • Mechanical Engineering degree (Bachelor), or mechanical trade certificate and technical college, or equivalent
  • Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.

  • Good verbal and written Norwegian
  • Good verbal and written English

Preferred

  • Know your way around MS AX ERP Software
  • Worked directly in engineering in the oil & gas world
  • Experience in other engineering areas
  • Familiar with AX12
  • PMP or APM qualification
