Proserv Controls and Gilmore, a Proserv Company, established
Proserv announced a significant corporate restructure, in order to focus on its core strengths and capabilities. As a consequence, two new divisions are established, namely Proserv Controls and Gilmore, a Proserv Company.
Gilmore, a Proserv Company, a long-established Houston based manufacturer of cutting-edge sub-components, is globally known for its control valves, while Proserv Controls will encompass a range of activities, including the renowned Proserv subsea controls technology.
Skene Facility opens
Proserv’s Field Technology Services relocated to Westhill, in Aberdeen, UK. The base, located within close proximity to clients in SURF city (subsea, umbilicals, risers & flowlines), boasts 72,000 sq ft of yard space, and 50,000 sq ft of available workshops.
The move allows Proserv to focus on growing its successful IWOCS division, as well as the marine technology, subsea equipment maintenance and testing sections of the business.
Multiple platform and well decommissioning contract awards
2018 marked a big shift in the scale of decommissioning activity awarded to Proserv including technical scopes on Shell’s Brent leg cutting and Repsol’s YME platform decommissioning project, in addition to the significant volume of well slot recovery workorders that culminated in the Gulf of Mexico

Decommissioning contracts awarded in Asia Pacific
Proserv awarded a series of contracts for well severance, platform and FPSO decommissioning services. The contracts cover the Asia Pacific region and include Premier Oil in Indonesia; Chevron, through Baker Hughes, in the Gulf of Thailand; BHP, through Fugro, in Western Australia and by PCPP Operating Company, through Sapura Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia.

Production control contracts worth over $11million USD awarded in the Middle East
These recent contract wins will see Proserv engineering and manufacturing wellhead control panels, hydraulic power units and chemical injection systems to national oil companies, service companies and EPCs. Key to the awards is the strong installation, commissioning and life of field service offering that is unique to Proserv in the region.
New facility opens in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The opening of our new Production Controls facility in the Kingdom, allows Proserv to offer local manufacturing, project delivery and field service capabilities benefiting the local economy and workforce
HPU provision for Statoil Gullfaks in Norwegian North Sea
Proserv awarded a multi-million dollar contract with Equinor for the provision of production control equipment in Norway. Proserv supplied five wellhead hydraulic power units to the Gullfaks field as part of its extensive topside upgrade programme.
World first in subsea sampling cylinder (SSC) technology
Proserv designed and built the world’s first fully qualified and certified ‘for shipping’ sample cylinder for use in a subsea environment. The SSC enables well operators to safely and efficiently capture samples from a subsea producing well enabling accurate well properties capture throughout the lifetime of a field.
Proserv’s subsea control system in use on Callater wells in UK North Sea
Proserv’s contract with Apache included the supply of a subsea control system and associated topside and subsea interface equipment for use on the new Callater wells located south of the Beryl Alpha platform.
Proserv awarded two significant contract wins in the Gulf of Mexico
The deals with Talos Energy and Hess Corporation saw Proserv provide subsea communications and controls solutions to support the brownfield upgrade of the Phoenix field for Talos Energy. The award with Hess Corporation required Proserv to provide a subsea control module and associated tree mounted equipment for the expansion of the Conger field.
Nautronix joins Proserv
The acquisition strengthens Proserv’s position in the subsea market providing fully integrated subsea controls, communications, positioning and survey services.

Proserv secures topside equipment contract on Johan Sverdrup
The agreement between Proserv to Aibel, on behalf of Equinor, included the design and manufacture of a hydraulic power unit and three chemical injection panels.
Proserv wins significant Brazilian subsea controls project
The $40m contract win included the supply of nine subsea control systems to support deepwater workover controls services for several projects in Brazil up to 2,500m water depth.
Subsea control systems for Hess Stampede, Gulf of Mexico
Proserv secured a major contract with Hess Corporation worth in excess of $20 million for the provision of a 12-well subsea control system along with associated topside and subsea interface equipment

Two North Sea contract wins for subsea control systems, in excess of $9 million
The first project involved the provision of electro-hydraulic multiplex subsea control systems at the Maersk Oil operated Talisman Clyde-platform. The second project invoved the provision of topside and subsea manifold control systems in the Southern North Sea.
